Unlike most cookie policies, this one is short because it's accurate: as of this writing, the SmartLite marketing site sets no third-party tracking or advertising cookies at all. If that changes (analytics, ad pixels, etc. are added later), this page should be updated first — the sections below already outline the categories for when that happens.

1. What This Covers

This policy explains the cookies and browser storage used by the SmartLite marketing website (smartlitecrm.com) and the SmartLite CRM application (app.smartlite.app).

2. What We Currently Use

Technically, both of the above are browser local storage entries rather than HTTP cookies, but we cover them here since they serve the same purpose and most people expect this policy to explain them. Neither is used for advertising, cross-site tracking, or sold/shared with third parties.

3. Categories, for Future Reference

If cookies are added in the future, they'll fall into one of these categories:

Strictly Necessary — required for core functionality (e.g. staying signed in). These can't be disabled without breaking the Service.
Analytics — would help us understand aggregate usage of the marketing site or app. None are in use today.
Marketing — would support advertising or retargeting. None are in use today.

4. Managing Cookies & Local Storage

You can clear local storage and cookies through your browser's settings at any time. Doing so on app.smartlite.app will sign you out; doing so on the marketing site will simply bring back the cookie notice on your next visit.

5. Changes to This Policy

We'll update this page if the cookies or storage we use change — particularly before adding any analytics or marketing cookies.
